Hi I'm Kellan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Ever since I was a young boy I loved cars and airplanes. In particular, I have always tried to keep up to date on the latest cars that comes out. I even have a greater desire to drive those fast cars like my dad's '67 Camaro, which I hope one day I will be able to buy from him (unless he wants to be buried in it). More importantly, is my passion to be with my wife and 8 month old son. We love to travel together, camp, hike, and explore the wonderful land the Lord has blessed us with.

Why I am a Mormon

I happen to be raised in Christ's church and as a youth. I knew that the standards I was asked to keep and the gospel I was apart of was good, yet I didn't know with certainty that it was what the Lord wanted for me. That is until I found out for myself that my gospel, Christ's full gospel, was already apart of my life. Although many experiences have led to my testimony, one in particular has stood out. One night I prayed to Heavenly father to know If what I was reading, The Book of Mormon, was from Him and found myself filled with the Spirit of truth like I have never felt before and of which I cannot deny. Since that time, the Spirit of truth has continued to teach me that this is Christ's church.

How I live my faith

I love serving in Christ's church. I have the opportunity to work with the 14-16 year old young men in my local ward. We do everything from exploring new trails in surrounding hiking area's, to playing team sports and even helping the elderly in our local communities. On Sunday's we pass the sacrament and also have lessons on how to be better priesthood holders. Although the young men are rambunctious, it is powerful to see them find their callings in life and each find their individual testimonies of the Savior and His gospel as I did around their age.
