Hi I'm Michelle

I am a divorced mother of two who balances a career working as a pharmacist, raising children, and serving others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a divorced mother of two who balances a career working as a pharmacist at the local hospital, raising sweet children, and serving others through callings or whatever other opportunities arise. My top priority is teaching my children about this gospel. I find joy in stopping and appreciating moments that matter most….children laughing, friends smiling, and family loving each other.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church by devout parents until I was thirteen. Then through my parent’s divorce my father was left alone to raise me in the church. My ward members stepped in and helped my father teach me the fundamental principles of the gospel. Their love gave me a feeling of joy and peace that I have learned in life comes from living the teachings of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. As an adult I did try to choose my own way for a while and was met with bitter disappointment. I soon discovered on my own the simplicity of life when living God’s commandments. That familiar joy and peace I have felt over the years is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Serving others is how I live my faith, whether it is my family, friends, co-workers or my three year old Primary children. Whenever I find myself focusing on my trials, I search out others in need. This helps me live more selfless and in the end blesses me to overcome my own personal struggles in life. I believe it is the small things in life that count. Daily I put effort into maintaining a relationship with God, I know that he loves me and I can find happiness in any situation with this knowledge.
