Hi I'm Brian

I grew up in Arizona. I studied exercise and wellness in college. I want to be an occupational therapist.

About Me

I've always felt that I am a very well rounded person. I enjoy camping, hiking, swimming, singing, playing the piano, reading, and spending time with friends and family. My family and friends mean so much to me and I learn a lot from them. I will graduate from college this year and I am planning to go to occupational therapy school.

Why I am a Mormon

The doctrine of the gospel teaches that when we serve our fellow man, we are serving God. I know I feel good when I help people who are in need. When I serve others I grow to love them and I recognize them as children of God with the potential to become like Him. Jesus Christ taught us how to serve and showed us the perfect example of how to love unconditionally. Being a member of the church provides me the opportunity to interact with people I might not normally associate with. As we learn and serve together I grow to understand other people and I see their unique perspectives on the gospel. I have come to know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true by living what it teaches. When I pray I know my Father in Heaven hears and answers those prayers. I know that there are living prophets today who teach us the will God. I know the Book of Mormon is a book about Jesus Christ and I feel close to him when I read it. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and it is through his Atonement that I can be clean from my sins. I know that his Atonement makes it possible for me to be the very best person I can be. It's through the power of Christ's infinite sacrifice that I will be able to live with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I serve in my ward as a leader of the other college-age young men. My main responsibility is to serve them and to invite them to strengthen their personal relationship with the Savior Jesus Christ. I do this by helping them overcome the struggles that they face in their lives. I also work with others to plan meaningful activities for them to participate in. With the help of others we plan Sunday lessons that will help them increase their faith in Jesus Christ.
