Hi I'm Erin

I'm from the United States, I want to be a graphic designer when I graduate, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm just a regular high schooler. Ever since I was little, I loved to draw. My mom was an artist so I guess I got my creative interests from her. I started taking art classes in junior high and loved them! And now, even in high school, I still keep my creative juices flowing by doodling and sketching at home. I also enjoy singing. My school is full of musicians so we have a pretty large choral program. I sing in a jazz choir and it's a lot of fun! Tennis is also one of my hobbies. I try to practice every week and I want to make the tennis team this upcoming season.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. But recently I had my own conversion experience. After going through a tough time I finally realized that this is the true gospel. This church is true, and I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet who restored it. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and are watching over us every second of every day. I know that we are given trials to learn and grow from and without them, there would be no purpose in us coming here to earth. I know that after reading and praying about it, the scriptures are true and the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. Also, I know that if we live righteously we will have the chance to live with our Father in Heaven again. This gospel is important to me and without it, my life would be empty.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through reading the scriptures and saying my prayers daily. I serve others and always try to make the best choices every day. I also attend church each Sunday, and on Wednesday nights I participate in youth church activities. Of course I don't live my faith perfectly, but when I do it makes me a better, happier person.
