Hi I'm Paul Brown

I am happily married to Dawn; we have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. I work as an executive recruiter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in southern Idaho and served a church mission to Germany before completing my college education in Utah, where I met and married a beautiful co-ed named Dawn! We have lived all over the country as a result of my career in retail. After changing careers in order to be at home more, we moved to Texas where we currently live. We have four children and six grandchildren and love being Texans!

Why I am a Mormon

While I was raised in the church as a child, I began to question and seek answers as a teenager. I'll never forget attending a special end-of-the-year testimony meeting which included all the LDS youth in my class at school. The stake president presided and decided to let the meeting continue as long as people kept bearing their testimonies. The meeting went almost 4 hours until 1am in the morning! I remember walking home from the church feeling like I was walking on air! I had felt a very strong spirit which testified of the truthfullness of those things that were said at the meeting. Not long after this, my brother was killed in an auto accident and my testimony was again strengthened as I knew that he had a special mission to be accomplished in the spirit world. These experiences were a turning point in my life as I left home for college and then a full time mission to Germany. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins and that He lives! I know that He will guide and direct our lives if we will just open the door to let Him in. I have read the Book of Mormon and know that it is a wonderful testament of Jesus Christ; I invite all to read this special book and come to your own knowledge of it's truthfulness.

How I live my faith

We love living in San Antonio and serving in our church and community here! I currenly serve as the President of our Home Owners Association and as a board member for our high school marching band parent's association. I am also active in our local council of the Boy Scouts of America and enjoy mentoring young men through the process of earning their Eagle Scout award. At church I work with the youth and help to plan dances, firesides, youth conferences and service projects throughout the year.
