Hi I'm Amanda

I'm a future teacher, food and culture lover, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a child at heart who loves Disneyland, fairy tale stories, chick flicks, and going to the beach. I have always loved learning and want to be a French teacher when I finish school. I enjoy working out, taking naps, trying new foods, going to the zoo, and learning new languages. I love to visit new places and meet new people and believe that variety enriches the world.

Why I am a Mormon

At 13 I read the Book of Mormon for the first time. There was no specific moment that I knew that it was true, but as I read, I felt a calm assurance that it was. I felt God's spirit and was filled with a desire to change and to try to be a better person. I know that if we turn to God for help that He will provide a way through every difficulty. He loves us and wants what is best for us and when we keep His commandments and do the things He wants us to do, we are blessed with peace. I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the Lord's church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to constantly improve and be more like the person my Heavenly Father knows I can be. I believe in the importance of going to church, and try to attend all of my church meetings as well as share my faith with others.
