Hi I'm Eli!

I'm a Mormon. I'm from South Carolina, I love to sing, play the piano, and love to bake cookies! =D

About Me

Every day, i go to school, participate in after-school activities, hang out with friends, and do my chores. I like to sing in my school choir and play the piano. Hanging out with friends and playing video games is also another great pastime. This is me. My name is Eli, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, so I've always had the teachings and knowledge of the gospel in my life, but I try not to take it for granted. Being a Mormon is a huge blessing because I know that I am a son of God and that I can return to live with him one day. I am a Mormon because of the blessings that I receive, the friendships that I've made, the truths I've learned, and the love that I have felt from God. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

On Sundays I go to church and learn the teaching of the gospel from the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I go to youth nights on Tuesdays to have fun with other Mormon kids my age and to socialize, create friendships, and have fun! I also attend a seminary class early each morning before school so that I can build a testimony of faith. Seminary helps me fight against temptation of worldly things and peer pressure. I try to live everyday with high standards like keeping my body clean by not drinking alcohol and smoking. I do not use profanity or take the name of the lord in vain. I strive to make friends with everybody no matter their background, ethnicity, culture, or color. I stand up for my religion and answer as many questions (as my knowledge can supply) to those around me. I invite all to come unto Christ because this is a main goal in our church to spread the teaching of the gospel to everybody around the world. I pray to God often and always find peace and humbleness in him when I search for answers or just need some help. I am very privileged to have my church and the teachings of the gospel because they help me become a better person and further my goal in returning to live with God in heaven.
