Hi I'm Ana

Since coming to the U.S. I've lived in Florida, California, Utah and Georgia. I love ballroom dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from B.Y.U. school of Social Work in 1988 and have been working as a social worker since then. I love ballroom dance, gardening, family history work, exploring new places and taking in animals. I'm a family history consultant and a volunteer foster parent for homeless cats through an organization that finds adoptive homes for our feline friends.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I always wondered what purpose life had, why I was here and where I was going after this life was over. I wanted to understand my relationship to God and Jesus Christ. I was looking for answers and didn't know where to find them. My parents and I had attended several different churches and had not been satisfied with any of them. We had come to the point that we thought the truth was not to be found on this earth. We figured we'd live the best life we could and hope for the best. When I was 15 yrs. old I learned about the church through the Osmonds. My girlfiends and I became Osmond fans and on Dec. 31, 1971, we met Jay Osmond at Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, Fla, where they had been performing. I gave him my name and contact info to send missionaries to learn more about the gospel. In Jan. of 1972, 6 missionaries from the So. Fla mission showed up at my door with a referral from the Osmonds. My girlfriends and I began the missionary discussions as soon as we could. From the first discussion we knew we were listening to things that made sense for thr first time and we knew we were on the right track. It was like pieces of a puzzle coming together and we couldn't wait for the next discussion. I was baptized the next month and don't know where I'd be today without th gospel. I encourage you to listen to the missionaries and pray about what they say.

How I live my faith

Each day I try to do the best I can to do a good job at work and to be a good friend to others. If I can help someone in need, I do so.
