Hi I'm Danny

I am a rock & roll and jazz bass musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a father of two beautiful daughters. For the past 32 years, I have worked for a large electronics company as a manager and worldwide marketing. From Michigan, I learned to love the water and especially water skiing. Moving to idaho, I developed a passion for snow skiing and love for the mountains. I love music and a performing musician since age 14.

Why I am a Mormon

Two weeks after our marriage, my wife and I moved from Michigan to Provo, Utah for me to attend Utah Technical College. Needing a way to help finance college expenses and to continue my musical pursuits, I was accepted in a band who were all members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. During our many performance travels with enthusiasm to share their faith, they caught my attention with their message of the restoration of the Gospel with living Prophets and Apostles on this Earth today. Reluctantly, we accepted to be taught by the missionaries expecting to hear the message and dismiss it due to our own faith and beliefs. The missionaries challenged us to read to Book of Mormon. While reading, I was overcome by a powerful witness of the truth of the Book of Mormon that I couldn’t deny. Two days later, my wife had a similar experience. Since that time, throughout our life we have experienced immense joy of living the truths of the restored Gospel.

How I live my faith

I have served in many callings throughout my time as a member of this church. Teaching young children and teenagers have been some of my favorites as I have had a chance to feel their spirit and share my testimony. I have served in several leadership callings giving spiritual and material support to families. One of my favorite callings was serving with the Bishop while witnessing his spiritual strengths, love and concern for others. My band have donated our music for fund raisers such as Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MAD), community events, and performing for our troops.
