Hi I'm Pamela

I taught second grade for three years, am now a stay at home mom, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small farming town in eastern Washington. Now I'm living on the west side of the state with my husband and our daughter while he finishes graduate school. We moved here from Utah, where we met, and where I was a second grade teacher for three years. I now stay at home to take care of our daughter. I also have a crochet business on the side. As a family we love to go on walks and enjoy the beautiful area we live in. Card games are a must in our home and music is plentiful.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church and surrounded by a family who loved me and taught me the gospel by example. It provides the way for families to be together forever, which is so important to me. I know we have a loving Heavenly Father who wants us to be eternally happy and He gave us this church to show us the way to be just that. Throughout my life I gained a testimony of the gospel by trying to live the principles that I was taught in the scriptures. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I can see how it improves my life. It brings me happiness and makes me a better wife, mother, teacher and friend. The scriptures remind me that we are all children of God. The Savior taught us to love one another and I have felt His love as I have tried to follow His example. I am not perfect, but the gospel is perfect. And I know that through our Savior Jesus Christ we can become perfect.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to find ways to serve others. I currently help plan monthly activities for the women in our ward (congregation). As a mother, I find a lot of joy in serving and teaching in our home. I like using the skills I learned as an elementary school teacher to plan fun and meaningful activities for our daughter, and love including some of the neighborhood children her age to join us.
