Hi I'm Gabby Farr

I'm a band nerd, I love hockey, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm fifteen, and I'm a very active student. I'm well-rounded, and I participate in my school's band as well as other local performing groups under the direction of various directors and composers. I plan to major in music after high school, and I plan on serving a mission. I am the pioneer of my family, and I hope to be with the rest of my family someday in the Celestial Kingdom. I'm extremely thankful for everything Christ has done for us, and I'm thankful for the free agency that we have so we can do what is right. My favorite scripture is Ether 12:27.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I decided that the life that I was living wasn't exactly "picture perfect." I knew that I was capable of so much more, so I began my search for religion. Two of my closest friends happened to be Mormon, and while on the band bus, they began to talk about Youth Conference. It was then that I wanted to visit the church. From there, I learned more about the fullness of the Gospel and the promises that Heavenly Father has made to every one of us. I was previously Methodist, but I had come to a point where I was lost. I had no idea what was right, so I prayed about it. My faith in God led me to this church, and I am so thankful to have the fullness of the Gospel in my life!

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day through my example to my friends, family, and other people whom I run into throughout the day. I tend to live by the phrase, "Live Like You Believe." If a person has a belief, then that person should not be hypocritical as to not abide by that belief. I was taught through example, and I love to teach everyone around me how to teach others through example. A simple act of kindness can brighten someone's day.
