Hi I'm Liz

I have run two marathons, I have two sons and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am originally from Spokane Washington as is my husband Brad. We have two darling little boys. I earned my B.A degree in Family and Consumer Science from BYU-Idaho in 2006 and my Master’s degree in Education from the University of Phoenix in 2009. I have completed two marathons and I currently stay at home taking care of our sons.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to know for myself that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me and who wants me to be happy. I have prayed to know for myself if the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It is! I know that Jesus Christ lived and died and He lives again! Because of this knowledge, I have such comfort in knowing that I will see passed loved ones again someday. This is the good news of the gospel, which we can and will live with our Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ again one day. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it helps me to become a better person by loving and serving others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a mother, a nurturer and a friend. I live my faith by being a wife, a confidant and a companion. I live my faith by serving and being an active part of my ward (congregation). I currently have been asked to help serve the youth, specifically the young women, ages 12-17. These girls are outstanding examples to me of young women who are dedicated to making a difference in the world. Youth group activities on Wednesdays are a nice chance to get to know the young women better and to understand what they are involved in with school and extracurricular activities. I live my faith because it allows me to have the spirit of God in my life.
