Hi I'm Kelly

I was baptized at age 15. I am a mom of three, a seminary teacher, and I enjoy riding my motorcycle. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three children, Brittony, Aaron and Lorin, ages 19, 16, and 10, respectively. I was sealed in the Seattle Temple. I have been married for 24 years. I live in Marquette, Michigan. We have a small ward. I love to work with our Sister Missionaries and teach people about the gospel. I teach early morning seminary. This is my second year of teaching seminary. I love working with the youth of the church. One of my favorite things to do is to ride on a bus with my ward to attend the Chicago temple. It is a six hour trip each way.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the church by a friend. It made perfect sense to me. It all seemed like something I had heard before. At age 15 I was needing to change some things in my life. I was moving to Washington state at the time and it was a way for me to make a new start. I have never regretted my decision to be baptised. The gospel has brought me so much joy that I would not ever want to be without it. It makes me want to share the message with others. I want to help others experience the happiness I have felt.

How I live my faith

I have worked with the youth for many years in different capacities. I worked with the Young Women in my ward for several years and then I was called to be a seminary teacher. I am thankful that I have a calling that requires me to study my scriptures daily. I have learned so many wonderful things from the scriptures about how to live my life. Our Heavenly Father wants up to be happy and he tells us exactly how to find happiness. If we will only follow his teachings and keep the commandments, we can experience great joy. I have a testimony of this church and I enjoy telling others about it.
