Hi I'm Sitha

I was born and raised in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I am married and have a 1 year-old son. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to listen to good music and play the piano. I am a mother of a one year-old boy, and I am expecting my second baby girl in two months. I am attending college and will be graduating in about a month.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were Buddhist before until they met LDS missionaries when I was seven years old. They learned the gospel and got baptized and joined the church. So I attended primary class and got baptized when i was eight. I learned a lot of things at church like sing primary songs, color pictures, play games with other friends. I had many good friends at church and we are nice to each other. We always help each other out. I love going to church every Sunday and I had many opportunities to serve other members in the branches. I had different callings like playing the piano, primary teacher, young women presidency, etc. I believe that if I serve other people, it means that I am serving the Lord. I know that God lives and answers my prayers. I have a strong testimony that family can be together forever if we live the gospel.

How I live my faith

Every month I visit at least two sisters in the ward and make sure they are doing well or if I can help them with anything. When we meet, we get to know each other closer and better. I have other callings in the church as the ward chorister. Sometimes, I am assigned to teach the gospel to other sisters in the ward.
