Hi I'm Colton R. Hanson

I grew up in Spokane, Washington. I am a missionary serving in Tahiti, Papeete, French Polynesia! I'm a mormon!

About Me

I am a 20 year old young man. I enjoy hanging out with friends, watching movies, cooking, camping, dancing with my friends, and almost everything about life. I am serving in Tahiti and speak French, Tahitien and English almost every day!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a mormon from the time I was born to the time I turned 8. After that I'm not quite sure what happened all I knew was that we stopped going. It took about four years for me to come back. Ever since I have never had a doubt in my mind that what I've been taught is nothing but the truth. So, yeah I guess that is why I'm a Mormon

How I live my faith

I live my faith as I go to college by upholding the standards of the Church even if that means singling myself out and leaving class and receiving a different assignment. I live my faith as I share the gospel with those who will listen, not because I want you to become a mormon (although I do) but because I love my religion and know that it is true. When you love something or are excited about it then sharing it becomes second nature!

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Colton R. Hanson
No, mormons are not required to serve a mission, most of them that do go on missions grew up in the church and believe the teachings with all their heart, so they want other people to feel the spirit like they do. They then take two years out of their life in which they devote their time to converting others. Show more Show less
