Hi I'm Sara

I'm a high school student. I'm a basketball player. I'm a violinist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a freshman in high school. I spend most of my free time playing guitar or piano, but mostly violin. I really like playing sports like basketball and soccer. I have a big family consisting of my mom and dad, and four other siblings. I love spending time with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a mormon. Growing up i never really knew why i was a mormon. I was always just following what my parents told me to do. But now I really do KNOW that this church is the true church of christ. I continue to follow his gospel because it gives me a sure path to follow. I look at everyone around me and see how much more I have. I want to share my happiness with them. I take as many opportunities i can to share the gospel with them. This gospel is the complete doctrine of christ. Whenever i have a question or i am struggling, i can pray or read the book of mormon and i will find an answer. I know this is the true church on the earth today. I know Joseph Smith was called to restore the church. I know there is a true and living prophet on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. I participate in youth activities during the week. I work on my personal progress frecuently. I occasionally play my violin in church. I share the gospel with my friends whenever i can. I help people around me by doing service or giving them advice. I pray everyday for guidance and missionary opportunities. I also pray for my friends and family.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Sara
God is the source of all truth. He loves you and wants to answer your questions. He will help you recognize the truth as you sincerely seek it and ask Him for guidance. You can know that what you’ve been learning is true (see James 1:5-6; Book of Mormon, Moroni 10:4-5). Sincerely pray to your Heavenly Father. Ask Him if what you are learning is true. Continue to study and give thoughtful consideration to what you are learning. Listen with your heart for the sweet feelings of inspiration from the Holy Ghost, who will to whisper the truth to your spirit and mind. Follow God’s commandments so you can feel the influence of the Holy Ghost. You may have experienced feelings of peace, hope, comfort, or happiness as you’ve read. If so, you have already felt the Holy Ghost telling you that these things are true. Show more Show less
