Hi I'm Karine

I am a wife, mother, self-employed, and director/coordinator for music lessons. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My five children each play one or two musical instruments. I get overwhelmed with the coordination while trying to maintain my own continued growth. My children have taught me many things-- patience, of course, and music theory and arrangement, among others. My education is in engineering and my husband and I were able to start a home business producing sensors for scientific research. I invest most of my time in caring for my family and then use the rest in our home business. The children help with all of the responsibilities. Music is a large part of our life. We are developing our talents and do our best to share them with others.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith makes a huge difference in my life. It is who I am and how I strive to live. I believe in the Savior and am thankful for His example. I strive to follow that example by giving service wherever I can. My faith in the Savior also gives me hope and energy to continue and carry-on, in spite of concerns, disappointments, and challenges. I know that I can pray to God and receive answers to my questions and help with life's challenges.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by giving service where I can. I teach the 3-4 year-olds (Sunbeams) at church each Sunday. These children are at a wonderful age-- just learning to sit and listen, but preferring to wiggle! I love it. Because we are in a small community, our music opportunities are small. I serve on a parent board to coordinate the efforts of our music teachers to share a group experience for our children. I work to coordinate opportunities to share the musical talents of my children and others with those who will enjoy it.
