Hi I'm Brian

I am an IT Project Manager for Boeing living in Kirkland, Washington. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary with my beautiful and awesome wife. We have 4 great children who all enjoy life. I love being outside and playing all kinds of sports, with soccer being my favorite. Travel is a hobby of mine as well as hiking, reading and motorcycle riding.

Why I am a Mormon

Believing in my Savior Jesus Christ and trying to follow His example of loving one another and being of service has brought great joy to my life. I know I have a purpose in life and this makes me want to be a better person. Life is too short not to be happy and I want to help others be happy. I have seen the Gospel of Jesus Christ work in people's lives and the miracle that comes about as they believe in and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. While testifying of Jesus Christ, I have seen bad men become good, and good men become better. As a Christian, I am grateful to know and believe that we have a prophet on the earth in these tough times. We also have twelve apostles to lead, gude, and direct us, the same as Christ had in his church here on the earth 2,000 years ago. He loves us just as much as He loves those who lived then, so He would not leave us without spiritual leaders and guidance to face life's difficult challenges. I have read and studied other religions and the Holy Ghost answered my prayers and testified that Jesus Christ lives and is the Son of God and that this is His church restored here on the earth. I truly believe that and feel it deep in my heart. That is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my actions and by always being kind to all those I greet and know. Hopefully others can see the fruit of my actions and realize there is hope and happiness in this life. I read the scriptures and try my best to obey the commandments. I love working with the youth and see great potential in their lives. Many great people helped me along in my youth and I want to honor those adults who assisted me in my life by trying to make a difference in the lives of teenagers today.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Mormons help all others. I am the only Mormon on my block. Growing up in California, I was the only Mormon guy in my high school graduating class and many times the only Mormon on my baseball and soccer teams. If we only helped out other Mormons, I would be very lonely. We look at all people as children of a loving Heaven Father. He does not exclude answering prayers or helping anyone out due to religious membership, and so we don't exclude the same. If someone is in need or help, we are there, no questions asked. This is one reason we do so many service projects in our communities and regions. Show more Show less
