Hi I'm Al

I am lots of thing but most important to me is that I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a consultant to the Federal Government in the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) area, perform research for several companies, and sit on the faculty for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I am a descendent of the Mormon pioneers but also had a couple of family members that came across the ocean on the Mayflower. I am a grateful husband of a very intelligent loving wife and the father of 7 great children.

Why I am a Mormon

Although born and raised in the Mormon church, there comes a time in each individual's life where they must chose for themselves what they will believe and how they will conduct their life. I chose Mormonism for many reasons. The most important is I know our Heavenly Father answers prayers and grants his children answers to their fervent prayers. After much research, pondering, and recognizing how much time and talent it would take to remain an active member of His Kingdom, I knelt in prayer and poured out my heart to know the truth. I was willing to be active and strive to keep all of the commandments if I could only get an answer from Him that all of this was true. That answer came.

How I live my faith

Fortunately the answer to my prayers concerning the truthfulness of the Mormon faith came early in life. I have been able to serve a 2 year mission to Switzerland and Southern Germany. I been all over the world since then in the military and vacation travel and have seen the church expand and see church buildings in far away towns in remote countries. I have had the privilege of serving in many capacities in His Kingdom. I have worked with the youth, in the Scouting program, in missionary work, and have also served in leadership roles even three times as a congregational leader. Most important to me is I have had the opportunity to have raise my children to know the truth.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Mormons believe in the Bible because it is the word of God given to those prophets of the old world where they were commanded to write it down. Show more Show less
