Hi I'm Pam Niska

I've been married for almost 20 years and have 5 children. I'm a stay-at-home mom and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of 5 children ages 7-18. They keep my life full and interesting. I used to work as a dental assistant, but quit about 12 years ago to be home with my children. I love to go on dates with my husband of almost 20 years. I also like to exercise. Lately, I'm enjoying Zumba, weight lifting and running. I enjoy socializing with good friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a Mormon, but at some point needed to find out if this was what I believed or what my parents believed. So, I studied and prayed and received an answer that this church is true. I'm very grateful every day to have that knowledge. I know that God is real and that His Son, Jesus Christ died for me to take away my sins. This means more to me than anything else in life. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God in addition to the Bible and that they both testify of Christ and help me to know Him better as I study them. I know that God speaks to prophets in our day just like He did in Biblical times and I follow that continuing revelation received by them. I pray a lot and am extremely grateful to receive answers to those prayers. I rely heavily upon them knowing that God sees the whole picture and knows what's best for me. My religion brings me immense happiness!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading scriptures and praying daily and teaching my children to do the same. My husband and I teach the youth how to share what they know with others. We love it! I also help serve others when I can to help ease their burdens and make their loads lighter.
