Hi I'm Kiersten

I am a wife. I am a career woman. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Gilbert, Arizona with 3 older sisters. I have been living and working in Australia for that last 3 years. I met my Aussie husband in 2007, where we developed our friendship over the next 2 years, and then dated and got married in the Mesa Arizona Temple in July 2009. I am a regional operations manager for a sporting goods retailer. I enjoy baking, traveling with my husband, and spending time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up as a member in Gilbert, Arizona, I constantly had member friends to uplift and set an example for me. My testimony grew immensely when I attended a church camp, where we trekked around the mountains for 3 days, just like our Pioneer ancestors. While I was there, I learned about hard work, overcoming physical and spiritual trials, the gospel, and Joseph Smith's First Vision. The Holy Ghost testified to me that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and he really restored the Lord's Gospel. I am so grateful for my testimony of Joseph Smith, as it has been a foundation for all of my other gospel principle beliefs. I know that if I am obedient to Heavenly Father's commandments, I will be worthy to live in his presence with my family again someday.

How I live my faith

I teach a 9-10 year old primary class everyday Sunday. My husband and I have made a goal to attend the Temple at least once a month. We love our dates to the Temple because it uplifts us and helps us see the answers to our everyday trials more clearly. We also read our scriptures and say family prayers together. I feel closer to my spouse and with my Heavenly Father each time we do this together.
