Hi I'm Linda

I'm a wife, a Mom, a Grandmother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful, faithful husband and 5 beautiful daughters who have given us 11 grandchildren. I love playing raquetball, reading, quilting, and people. I grew up in Texas and Ohio and have spent most of my adult years in Arizona where we raised our children. My husband and I are now empty nesters and hoping to retire sometime in the near future from the business that we own.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Mormon church my whole life. When I was young, I lived in an area where there were not many members of my church. I went regularly, but also attended other Christian churches and by the time I was a teenager, I knew that I was a beloved daughter of my Heavenly Father, and that He knew me personally. I knew that Christ was my Savior and Redeemer and that apostles and prophets were on the earth today. The other churches that I had attended all had some truth as well, but could never answer all of my questions. I have had experiences where the spirit testified to me that the things that I had studied out in my mind were true, that the gospel in it's fullness really was restored through a prophet of God. The church teaches us who we are and where we came from, and where we are going. It teaches us how we should live our lives and makes me want to follow Jesus's teachings, because I know that is the way to return to Him someday. I have a purpose and a plan and I try to serve others like He did. In all things, He set the example for us, and I'm so grateful to have that witness, that He lives.

How I live my faith

I love being an active member of my church. In the Mormon church, we have many opportunities to give service. We have 165 women that I have stewardship over at the present time, and as I meet with these wonderful women and love them, I feel my Heavenly Father's spirit with me in knowing how to help meet their needs. I have had many responsibilities over the years - mostly with the women of the church. I have learned that giving service makes me happy, and brings more blessings to me than to the ones that I am able to serve. I hope someday, to be able to serve a mission where I can help others find the happiness that I have in belonging to this gospel which has been restored to the earth.
