Hi I'm Scott

I'm a CPA, i'm a Dad, i'm a hunter and a fisherman, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I work as a certified public accountant. As a husband and a father of four children I enjoy spending my weekends with my wife and kids. We spend many Saturdays at either the soccer field or the baseball field watching the kids play. My family is the most important thing in my life and I am enjoying watching them grow up. I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for all of my life and the teachings of the Church gives me the strength to be a better father and a husband.

Why I am a Mormon

As a youth I relied on the faith of my parents. My parents provided me with wonderful teachings of Jesus Christs, and for the most part, I did not doubt their belief in Christ. My belief in Christ began as a youth and was strengthened through wonderful church experiences. At the age of 19 I had a desire to serve a mission for the Church and desired to know that the Book of Mormon was true. I read the Book of Mormon over a span of three weeks and felt the Holy Ghost as a confirming answer that it is a true book. Now each time I read the Book of Mormon I marvel at how it's teachings provide answers and direction in my life. Each day my faith grows stronger in my belief that Jesus is the Christ and that this is His Church.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am serving as the 2nd Councelor to the Bishop. This assignment allows me to help the Bishop in his many duties which include working with the primary children and youth.
