Hi I'm Teresa

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 36 years old. I have been married to my husband for 16 years and we have 5 handsome sons 13, 11, 9, 5, 3 and 1 gorgeous daughter who is 6. I am a student at WSU Nursing School working towards my BSN as well as a Medical Transcriptionist. I enjoy reading, watching good movies, playing board games with the family, and learning. A lot of my time is eaten up with my children. The three older boys have ADD/ADHD, so learning to work around their attention/hyperactive characteristics has been a challenge, but we try to instill in each one that Heavenly Father loves them as do we (his parents) and he was made very special. They are wonderful children that add love and joy to my life.

Why I am a Mormon

My heart burns with infinite love any time I think about the gospel. To me the gospel is very simple. John 14:15 says "If ye love me, keep my commandments." I teach by this command and I live by this command. My focus is on the love of the Savior and My Father in Heaven. If I love them, I will do the things they have asked me to do. I try to teach my children in the same manner. To me this is a very simple part of the gospel that everyone can do and build their faith and testimony from there.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being an example to others. Being a part of a wonderful community of saints is a great blessing for many people in the church. We can work together to build each other up and to help each other out. The purpose of the gospel is to show our love for our fellow man and there is no better way to do that then through service in a community setting with our fellow saints by our side.
