Hi I'm Daniel Simmons

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to run, listening to music, garde. I enjoy learning new things from how something works to other peoples background. I am married and going to college. I have worked at the West Columbia Walmart and currenlty working as a warehouse supervisor at Courier Express.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I took the challenge to ask our Heavenly Father to find out if what The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches is true. And I found out that not only what they teach is true but this is the Lord's Church. I never was a good example of the church growing up; I engaged in activities that weren't wholesome to the churches standards. I went to college about 2 hours from my hometown. I became influenced on what the some students were doing and started doing the same things they were doing. During my second semester, I was not only struggling but I have been comfronted many times with questions about my current religion and I could not give them a straight nor a firm answer. So near the end of the semester and into that summer I reflected and did my homework on the church and put in it to the test. I've never felt so happy than before. And that is why that I am still a Mormon today.

How I live my faith

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints I go out and visit other members of the ward to teach, edify, uplift, and see if there is anything they are struggling with that we can help them with. I am an instructer for the young adult men. At work I ask my coworkers not to swear or be vulgar in their talk and I as well. I do my best to help others when I see them struggling.
