Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and what help me find out that the church was true was when i was in the my freshmen year in High school and one of my closes friends was riding his bike and was hit by a drunk driver. This was a trial for me because i thought why would god let something so terrible happen to my friend, who was one nicest guys i have ever known. the docters first said that he had 80% chance of dying from the accident. i spent every other day that week fasting and praying for him. then at the end of the week his parents called saying that he will live but he won't be able to walk or be able to talk because of the damage. know five years later he is walking in a walker and has gone for sugrey that may be able to help him speak again. this brings great joy to me because i know that heavenly father heard my prayers and blessed my friend with a miracle. this is how i know that heavenly father lives, that he does hears our prayers and i know that because i was a member of this church that i was willing to put my trust in heavenly father to help and protect my friend. i am glad to be a member of this church, and i'm glad to be able see watch this miracle happen in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my life with gratitude and happiness that because that i have live by the church standerds i can live a good moral life and be an exsample to my friends and family. i do everything to follow the teaching of the gospel, that i have been able to live peacfully, and draw myself closer to my family and with my friends. this gospel has also help me draw myself closer to my heavenly father and i'm greatful for it. when i was 18 years old i was called to be a ward missionary which is i where will go out trying help other people in the area and try make sure that everything is going well with them and their families. sometimes i would go out with the full-time missionaries and teach the gospel to people who might be interested in listening and learning more about our faith. whenever i see something good happen in my life or in some one elses i always try thank god and do my best to remember him for blessing us because, i believe whenever something good happens in our lives i believe it has come from god. this is how live my faith and do all that i can to help other people.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Tanner Wilson
the only way a person can know if this church is true or not, is by praying to God if it is true. God knows all things and he understands all things so if someone really wants to know if this is true or not the best option is go to the person who knows all things and to ask if this is true. having faith that you will recieve answer to your question. then God will speak to you through thoughts, impressions, or feelings of peace and comfort. when you feel these things that is God telling you that it is true or right and everything that is good comes from God. so remember that prayer is what we all need to do if we are to recieve our own personal witness that this is true. Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Tanner Wilson
a savior is important to have in life because we being imperfect people make mistakes everyday in our lives and some are greater than others, we will have times where we will feel completely alone where we feel like there is no one around that understands or that no one cares about the struggles that we go through in life. that is the purpose of Jesus Christ to help us feel uplifted, stronger, happier, and at peace with our selves or even with other people. the whole purpose of having a savior is to have a friend that has experience the same thing that each and every one of us has felt or gone through in life so that when we go through trails or struggle we can turn to Jesus Christ for help, comfort, strength, and forgiveness in our lives, when we have no one else to turn towards. we need to have a friend who is willing to suffer the same things that we go through so that way he can know how he can help us overcome our struggles. kind of like a doctor who knows the right persciption for us to take when we are sick, and Jesus Christ is that perfect doctor who knows what we need to stay health emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. this is why a savior is so important.
