Hi I'm Billie.

I'm Alaska Grown. I'm on a mission in England. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outside! Hiking, sports, camping, fishing, skiing, everything. I write, paint, sing, and enjoy. I love anthropology, culture and history. My favourite thing to do is go adventuring: just me and my backpack traveling the world. I've gone to uni and studied landscape architecture and international design. Now I am on a mission in England!

Why I am a Mormon

I am an honest person, who values truth. I have studied and searched to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's church on the earth. I know that God is real. I pray to understand this. We are his children and he loves us, he wants us to learn and improve. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, and that he lives. I have been able to change my life because of his sacrifice. I learned how to trust in the Lord from reading the Book of Mormon. It is a compilation of records written by prophets to testify of Jesus Christ. The words of the prophets ring true. Through faith in Jesus Christ we can change in great measure, to be the absolute best we can be.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am serving a mission for the Lord in the England London South Mission. My great great great grandfather James lived and worked in London in the 1800s. He was much like me. He loved to travel, see the world, and live the life of a respectable vagabond. One day he met missionaries, proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. They taught him that through faith in Jesus Christ he could change his life, which he did. He was baptized by some one holding the priesthood authority of God. His sins were washed clean and he was able to start life anew. Thereafter he raised his family with the teachings of Jesus Christ. What a brilliant life I've had because of it! I am grateful that he had the chance to hear of the truth. Now I am here serving in the same great land of my ancestor James. A missionary sharing the same message as those long ago. Allowing others to learn of Jesus Christ, that they can change as well. It is amazing.
