Hi I'm Timothy Benolerao

I'm all about giving service, I love Watersports, I was born & raised in New York, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love rowing, swimming, and basically any sport on water! You could put me on a beach or by the river and give me some friends, volleyball, badminton, or anything you can throw or kick and I will be set! I absolutely LOVE to socialize with people! It doesn't matter if that person is the Biggest Nerd, the Coolest Jock, or the Musical Lovers, I am open to conversation. I like to help people if they are in trouble and if they need counsel. One of the favorite things I love to do is learn about History and the study of people. It amazes me how history can repeat itself and also there are things to be learned in it. I also take a hobby on learning new things such as working on automobiles, using firearms, exploring places I haven't seen before.

Why I am a Mormon

Before I became an official member at 15 years old. I've been going to a church with my parents until about I was 4, then we stopped. When I was about 12 when I started to bug my parents repeatedly to get their attention. I ask them "When are we going back to church?" and usually their response was "Next Sunday we will." I keep on waiting, I even got my Sunday's best clothes ready for Sunday but unfortunately we did not go to church, and all I keep hearing was "Next Sunday we will." One day some Missionaries came over and they taught us the gospel. There are some things I don't even remember about the nature of God, and also with the rest of my family who haven't been active for awhile. A couple Sundays later, we went to church and we started to become active again. This time I wanted to be a full member of the church. The missionaries taught me and my family about God's plan for us and how we can live with Him as families after this life. I was then baptized in 2011 of June and I still continue on this path I have set out. I am so grateful for those missionaries who taught me and have they instilled a desire for me to serve a mission and find those who are waiting. I love this Gospel and I know Jesus can really change us if we accept him completely and thankfully.

How I live my faith

Well, right now I simply live my faith by going day to day looking for ways to become a better person. I attend seminary (church school) weekly where I am able to feel God's spirit and learn his truths. I look for ways to serve those around me. I especially love to help people feel loved and appreciated, even if I don't know them.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

Timothy Benolerao
Of course not, we believe in free agency. This means we have the freedom to choose which is right or what fits for us. For example, Political Parties may have a Mormon Presidential Candidate but if we did endorse him/her it meant we have to stick to that only person and that would violate our free agency.
