Hi I'm Adam

I'm a Mormon. I love Nova Scotia. I love dentistry. I'm interested in seeing different cultures.

About Me

I am the father of an energetic three year old and a beautiful infant daughter. My wife is a wonderful mother and is very involved in the community. I am in my final year of dental school, and will be choosing soon where to work. I love to read science fiction/fantasy novels, watch movies, swim, and be outdoors. I love reading to my son every night and playing spastically with him when I get home from school. I love teaching Sunday School every week and learning more about my Savior as I do so.

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up a Mormon in a partially active family. I never really gained a true testimony until I was a teenager. By the point I decided to go on a mission for the church I had started to get serious about my commitment to serve. I read the Book of Mormon in its entirety and prayed to know if what I read was true. As a warm feeling spread over me I had the thought come to my mind and heart, "You already knew this was true". I love serving others and the church provides ample opportunity to do so. I love donating money and paying tithing that is definitely going to worthy causes. I could not feel the peace and contentment I enjoy in the Mormon church in any other establishment.

How I live my faith

I teach Sunday School to a few teenagers in my ward every week. We currently talk about the epistles of Paul, and the many testimonies of Christ found in the New Testament. This strengthens me, I'm sure, more than it strengthens any of them. I feel the spirit as I recall past experiences relating to the lessons I teach. I love home teaching members of the ward who are in need of a friend or a little direction. I try to pray and read the scriptures daily with my wife, who helps keep me on the straight and narrow path more than anyone.
