Hi I'm Camila Escobar

I was born in El Salvador, raised in Canada and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of eight children. I studied Social Work in school and graduated with my bachlor of Social Work Honours and was working a part-time retail job near home, along side. I like playing sports and especially enjoy dancing Salsa.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was baptized at the age of 8. At the age of 17-18 I was able to read The Book of Mormon and pray to know it was true. I realized then that I always knew it was true; that the Church of Jesus Christ is true. I realized all the blessings in my life have come as a result of following the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is why I continue pressing on in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Sants, because I know this is the true church of God restored to us by the Prophet Joseph Smith and led today by a living prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. Jesus Christ is at the centre of the Church because it is through Him, and Him only that we can receive Salvation and have everlasting Joy!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others in and out of the church in whatever way I can. I have taught children ages 7-8 about Jesus Christ and other teachings of Him. I also try and practice the principles I teach in order to follow Chirst's example.
