Hi I'm Citlali

I'm a mom, I'm a friend to many ,I'm a military wife, I'm a woman of faith and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a military wife for 9 years and have gone thru two deployments. I have two boys that keep me busy and that are full of energy and are always full of questions about the world and life it self. My husband has been a military member for 15 years. And there is no one in the world that is prouder; for his duty to this country; that me. And is my duty to him ;to teach our kids about the freedoms that we enjoy thanks to the sacrifices he makes as a soldier, and we do as a family. The boys look up to him and there is no doubt in my mind that they see him as a hero. They love everything army and specially the balckhawk helicopter which is my husbands area of expertise.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon all my life and will continue to do so. The teaching and high standards that we are subject to are those that had blessed my life. When I first was married; 8 months after my husband was to be deployed to his very first tour of duty to Afghanistan; as a newly wed this was the most terrifying thing that I could ever imagine to have to go thru. He was gone for a full year and on the darkest of my days I had to rely on the lord by praying daily and having a complete and honest trust that He would carry me thru as my faith in the lord grew stronger. 6 years after the first deploynent I was about to find my self as a "single mom" of a 3 year old boy and a 9 month old boy. This time the deployment was harder because of the kids constatnly asking about dad and not knowing of what tomorrow would bring to us. My faith in the Lord Jesus-Christ has strengthen thu out the years knowing that he will carry me thru and that at the end he will be by my side if I allowe him to be part of my trial and tribulations

How I live my faith

As I attend church on Sunday I help keep a group of about 150 kids, reverent and interested in the lessons that have been prepared specifically for them. And I can honasly say that being in there has helped me undertand my kids needs and being able to asnwere easily some of their many questions that are sure to come up during our day to day conversations.Learning the Gospel of Jesus-Christ thur the eyes of a child is the most humbling experience. And I look forward to that every Sunday as I step into my role of a "mentor "
