Hi I'm Clayten

I´m a mechanical engineering student, I´m a mormon.

About Me

Hi my name is Clayten. I’m from Arizona. I am a Mechanical engineering student and plan on getting a masters degree in aeronautical engineering. I’m a big fan of airplanes and I used to work at an airport as a assistant mechanic. I also enjoy playing sports i played soccer, football, rugby, and basketball. You could definitely say i am an outdoorsman as well. I love hunting, fishing, dirt bike riding, and everything in between.

Why I am a Mormon

I`m a mormon, or a member of the church, because it shows me what my purpose is in this life. Through the teachings of the church I know where we come from, why we are here, and what happens after this life. To me this knowledge is of great worth. I know this life is really short when we think about the eternities. I know that the way we live our lives here will determine how we live forever after this life. It’s so important to do what is right in this life so we can live with God and our families in peace and joy.

How I live my faith

Right now i am serving a mission for my church in Oaxaca Mexico. I feel like it is my duty to help other people know about this gospel. God has blessed me with the knowledge of this gospel, which are his teachings, so I can definitely do my small part and help others learn about how this message can bless their lives. Before my mission I was a member as well, the only difference now is that here in the mission I use all my time to teach people about the church. A mission is two years and once I end I am going to go back home and live a “normal life” as a member of the church, which means I will continue to go to church as well as finish school. The church and it`s teachings help us a lot. As we apply them in our lives, we are able to find the peace and happiness that God wants us to find.
