Hi I'm Rick Hildebrandt

I've been married for 28 years and a father to three wonderful children and grandfather to two grandsons and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Cincinnati until 16 years of age when I moved to Arizona with my mom and attended Westwood High School. I later served a mission to Dallas Texas from 1980 to 1982. Upon returning home, I married my sweetheart of 28 years in the Mesa Arizona Temple. I served in the United States Air Force from 1985 to 1990 where I earned a Bachelor Degree from the State University of New York (SUNY), and a Master's Degree from Arizona State University (ASU). I have three children, the oldest of which was married in the Mesa Arizona Temple and has two sons. The other two are currently working and attending college in Arizona. I own an electrical contracting business, a music studio/store and have an insurance business. I have been a volunteer as a littler league baseball Coach, Scout Master, Varsity Coach and Explorer Advisor in the Boy Scouts of America. My hobbies include being a drummer, riding quad's at the sand dunes and dirt bike riding.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had the opportunity of attending and studying many religions and have found the complete gospel of Jesus Christ in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have had answers to my prayers as to the validity of the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith as a Prophet of God. The Church's focus on the family and individual responsibility had blessed my life immeasurably. I know that Jesus Christ lives and guides and directs his Church through living Prophets and Apostle's. I have a testimony of the Preisthood of God and have witnessed many miracles in my life and the life of others because of it.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life according to the commandments of God as found in the scriptures and counsel given through his living Prophet. I've served as a youth advisor for over 20 years, a Sunday School Teacher and in several leadership positions in the Church. All this service is voluntary and has blessed my life in so many ways.
