Hi I'm Christine

I'm a wife, a mom of five, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married for 21 years and have five teenagers. My husband recently retired from the US Air Force and is now teaching in the college of business at the University of Wyoming. We have moved every two years for the twenty we were in the military. Each time, other members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have been like family to us. No matter where we have lived in the world, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is taught and fellow Saints are striving to follow His example.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to LDS parents who raised their children to love and serve the Lord. I gained a testimony of Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, and His church because I prayed to know for myself. I make a daily decision to live my life according to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I teach early-morning Seminary to 17 truly awesome seniors who attend Laramie High School. They are all great examples (to their peers and to me) that living the Gospel brings true happiness. Each school morning, 6:40 - 7:30am, we meet at the church to have a lesson on the New Testament. We sing hymns, pray for the Spirit, and discuss gospel principles that help us follow the Savior. In my home, we hold Family Home Evenings to teach our children the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We play together, work togther, laugh together. I love my five teenagers! My husband is a wonderful father and the most Christ-like man I know. My family means everything to me and we are stiving to be an eternal family. In my personal life, I pray and read the scriptures daily. I seek for the guidance of the Holy Ghost. When I make mistakes, I know I can repent and this draws me closer to my Savior. I know I am a child of God and that He loves and cares about me.
