Hi I'm Karen

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother, sister, daughter, teacher, friend. My children have reminded me that our lives are full of wonder and life is about discovering and dreaming and making every moment count. Our adventure unfolds with each new day...Make it amazing!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Mormon, and have continued in my faith because it really fits with who I am and who I want to be. The LDS church is all about love, kindness and hope, and that is exactly what I want for myself and my family.

How I live my faith

I just try to be the best me every day. Yes, it is a struggle. We all have trials and difficulties in our lives. I don't wish for those to be gone, I just live with the determination that I can learn from whatever experiences I have. I think we are here to learn and grow and become the very best possible versions of ourselves. Each day is a new opportunity to work toward that. For me, it is the journey and what we learn from it that is important. Right now I teach the 7 year old children in primary. They are, simply put, amazing. Their lives are full of wonder and expectation, joy and hope. Even though I teach their class every week, I think they teach me so much more than I could ever teach them.
