Hi I'm Boyet

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three (3) children, Enos, Kezia and Adam. I am working in a Pharmaceutical Industry. I like Basketball as a sport, I like to read during my vacant time especially in the morning before going to work.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were member of the church, i was baptized when I was 8 years old, but it doesn't mean that i became a member because my parents are member too. I chose to be a member of the church because even at e very young age of 8 years old, i have a feeling that the teachings in the church were of God. I started reading the Book of Mormon when i was at that same age and I have enjoyed the story in the book. Later on in my life, those stories have helped me combat all the challenges and obstacles of life. I have a firm testimony that the Book of Mormon contains the words of God. I have read it and have prayed about it and my prayers were answered. Being a Mormon to me does not only mean going to church every Sunday, to me it means more than that. It means following the saviors example by keeping the commandments of our Father in Heaven. To me, being a Mormon means that i should live the kind of life Jesus have lived, it means being a good example to my fellowman, it means choosing and doing what's right all the time.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continually following and obeying the standard of the church. I live my faith by magnifying my callings, visiting those families assigned to me. I enjoy being a Home Teacher, for me, this calling is one of the best way to reach out to those who are in need, to care for those who needs our help and service and to show forth the love that Jesus have shown to us.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Boyet
Families are the center of God's Plan. Collectively, we all belong into one Family under our Father in Heaven. Latter Day Saints believe that since Families are of God and ordained of God, it should last forever. Furthermore, the strength of the community is linked to the strength of the Families belong to it. One of the goal of each Latter Day Saints is to strengthen each Family in the church and thus it will reflect in the community where that Family belongs. To do this, we have Family centered programs like Family Home Evening, which we do once a week, usually every Monday, Family Prayer and Family Scripture Study which we do every day. This is one way of helping the Family and its individual members to have a life centered in Jesus Christ and thus be strengthen collectively. Show more Show less
