Hi I'm Quincy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happily married and dedicated to my wife Ruth. I am a father of four. Professionally, I am a chiropractor. We as a family have a hobby of camping and visiting the outdoors as often as the weather will allow. There is nothing else like cooking over a camp fire and sharing time with my kids without the TV or other daily attention grabbers.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was raised as a Mormon I have grown to a knowledge, that has come to me through my persoanl expereinces, that I am Mormon by choice. This choice helps me to be a better person by having faith in my Savior and living the prinicples which Christ taught and continues to teach through the prophets of old and of today.

How I live my faith

The manner in which I live my faith is through my family and my example to them. The church is centered around family and I have observed my father and his joy of his posterity. I too am learning this for myself with my own family. By attending our meeting and reading the scriptures and having family prayer on a daily basis we as a family are becoming closer and more united; as we learn more and relearn anew topis of the gospel. In my ward I am the secetary for a mens organization which teachers how to be better husbands and fathers and how to teach or children how they can obtain their own knowledge of the Savior to understand his plan for us here on earth. Seeing my chidren growing in this atmosphere is very assuring that they do have that understanding and that it will grow and make their own decision to mae their own path in the church ad through life.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Quincy
I know that men and woman are created as equal partners. It is easy to see the love that is in the eyes of the woman in the church. There is a great desire to help others, teach and to raise a family. Some woman stay home and some work. I see lots of smiles. Smiles of happiness. I have nothing but respect for the woman of the church and even more for my wife. She is a great guide and support for me and my children. I would encourage anyone to read the offical church standing for this question and say with clear state of mind that this statment is true and the manner in which me and my wife are trying to raise our family.
