Hi I'm Tyler

I like to spend time with family and friends, play basketball and snowboard and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student with a lot ahead of me. I love the simple things and desire the best that life has to offer. I love sports and spending time outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've experienced how the gospel of Jesus Christ truely is a light in the darkness, a beacon to the weired wanderer, and anchor in my life. My family, past, present and especially future, is the most important thing to me. These relationships are meant to last forever, and thanks to our Savior Jesus Christ, this is possible if we but follow Him. I wanted to know if this was true, I read the Book of Mormon and came to know by the power of the Holy Ghost that it was true. Because of that, I've gained that hope for that which I desire most, I can't see it or begin to imagine but it's real.

How I live my faith

I served a two year mission during which I invited others to follow Christ and experience the same joy I feel, and help them as they made decisions that would prepare them and their families to be together forever. I look forward to other callings I'll receive to help others do the same. I live the faith by doing the small things everyday that help me become who my Heavenly Father knows I can become; to be like Christ. It's a process that will continue throughout my life.

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

Tyler
Eternal life is the greatest gift that we, God's children, can recieve. Not only is it immortality but it's coupled with perfect and complete happiness, with our families, in the presense of our loving Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ. All of this was made possible by the Atonement of Jesus Christ; He overcame spiritual and physical death for us so that we can have the opportunity to choose eternal life by choosing to follow Jesus Christ by having faith, repenting, being baptized by proper authority, recieving the gift of the Holy Ghost by the same authority, then enduring to the end. Then after all we could do, by the grace of God we can recieve eternal life. Nobody can imagine or begin to fathom the full import of the things which God has prepared for those that love him, and if we love him we keep the commandments. By doing so, we can recieve the gift everyone is really searching for, the greatest gift, eternal life. Show more Show less
