Hi I'm Erikka

I’m a wife and a mother of four who loves spending time with my family. I love to laugh and learn new things and I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of four sons. I have had many jobs over the years ranging from volleyball coach to insurance agent, but being a stay at home mother has brought me my greatest joy and satisfaction. I love going and supporting my sons at their ball games and their musical concerts. I love nature and the outdoors and enjoy activities such as gardening, camping, and fishing. I also enjoy reading, especially historical fiction.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know that it is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He is my Lord and Savior. I know that because He atoned for my sins, that I can be forgiven of my sins. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and that He is always there for me, through the good times and the bad. I know that I can pray to Him anytime and He will listen and answer my prayers. I know these things are true because the Holy Ghost has testified to me that these things are true. I also know these things are true because of my own personal experiences. I know that if I follow the example and teachings of Jesus Christ that I will be able to return to my Father in Heaven someday and live with my family eternally. Living the gospel brings me joy and peace and helps me feel closer to my Heavenly Father and Savior.

How I live my faith

I am trying to become like the Savior. Some of the ways I do this is by serving others and striving to treat others how they would want to be treated. I seek for the guidance of the Holy Ghost by praying to my Heavenly Father and studying the scriptures daily. I attend worship services each Sunday and attend the temple regularly. I also am currently working with the children of my ward ages 3-11. This bring me great joy because I am able to spend time at church each week with the children and teach them about Jesus Christ and his teachings. I try to be an example to those around me as one who is a follower of Christ. I am also striving to raise my sons to be good people who love the Lord.
