Hi I'm Kathleen

I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, was an advertising executive, am now retired and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a divorced & remarried woman who is retired from the advertising & insurance industry. I spent 25 years in a bad marriage, but finally divorced him and four years later, I met the love of my life. My husband & I have six children and thirteen grandchildren. We love to travel and be together as much as possible & because we are both on the same pathway in life, we are very bonded together. I love scrapbooking, making digital slide shows of our travels & doing geneology. I find it fascinating to link my family together to all the people it took to get me here on this earth. In doing family history work, I feel close to those who have completed their earthly journey and look forward to being reunited with them someday. My greatest accomplishment was completing college in three years, while raising a family & working a full time job in advertising.

Why I am a Mormon

After my divorce, I started searching for somewhere to turn where I could find peace & happiness in my life. On a business trip to Salt Lake City, I toured the Mormon Visitor Center where the plan of happiness was presented to me and I knew this is what I was missing in my life. Upon investigating it further, I read the Book of Mormon and knew immediately that it was true. It told of stories of prophets that have gone before and had written these books on plates so as to preserve them for our time. I am glad I am a Mormon and have a living Prophet who teaches us through revelation how we can all be together forever as a family. The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints is true. It has been revealed to me by the Holy Spirit. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. And as you read it and pray about it, you will know of its validity. I now have that inner peace and happiness I so long had been searching for.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day and tell most everyone I meet about it. I am so happy to have found this church. I lead and live by example. I have played the organ and piano for the church, have taught young married and single women about homemaking skills, emergency preparation & food storage.
