Hi I'm Chelsea

I'm a student, I study biochemistry, music, and Spanish, I love life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student trying to figure out what the Lord has in plan for me. Currently I am studying biochemistry with a minor in music and Spanish, but that is always open for change! I love swimming, playing the violin and piano, reading, and being with others!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it makes me happy. There is so much sadness and pessimism in the world, but the gospel helps me overcome that. Knowing that God loves me and that he has a plan for me gives me motivation to keep on going. Additionally, as I study the Bible, Book of Mormon and the words of God's prophets I see evidence that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the church where God would have me be. I see the need for prophets, revelation, and additional scripture. God has restored His church once again, and He wants us to find if it is true for ourselves. Not only does being a Mormon help me feel good and have peace, but it fits me intellectually as well.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to follow the example of my Savior. I do this by helping those around me, being the best friend I can, and being honest with those around me. Granted, those things might seem small and insignificant, but that is the way Jesus Christ served others, by helping one individual at a time as well. I am working to become more like him as I love those around me and help them feel of Christ's love for them.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

For me there is evidence of God's influence in everything around me. From the beauty of the night sky and it's vastness to the extreme complexity within our cells makes my knowledge of God more sure. When I ponder on the near perfection of the function of our bodies (when we go down to a molecular level) I see the majesty of the organization and to me God's influence is manifest.
