Hi I'm Jessi

I am a sister. I am a Mother. I am divorced. I am 31 and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a woman. I am a Mother. I am divorced. I am a full time dental/implant surgical assistant and phlemobomist. I love bring a mom, spending time with my family, doing anything outdoors, laughing, swimming and dentistry ... all in that order. I consider myself a people person. The greatest desire in my life is to be happy and raise my son with a knowledge of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I have found peace, knowledge and truth in it's teachings. I have come to know for myself that there is a God above me that is aware of my individual needs. Not only does He know me...He loves me. I have read the Book of Mormon numerous times in my life and each time I open it's pages I feel the Spirit of God. Perplexing issues of life somehow become clear as I read, listen and ponder the teachings of Jesus Christ. Life is not easy. There are trials in my life that I did not think were part of "my plan" but with the knowledge that I have been given it makes all of those trials stepping stones on this journey. If you were to ask me to describe myself without mentioning the church I don't know what I would say. It is such a part of me that I don't know where it begins and I end. I am a 3rd generation member of the church but I became "converted" at the age of 21. Thru this conversion process I felt an urgent prompting to serve as a missionary and share the knowledge I had received. I served a full time mission in the Tucson Arizona Mission. I have been given countless blessings in my life due to infulence of the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It has made me who I am and I that I will ever be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being what Paul described as an "example of the believer's." I live the standards of the church to the best of my ablilty to keep the Spirit of God with me. I want to do nothing that offends God. I am the Gospel Doctrine Teacher in my ward and love to teach the Gospel. When people ask me why do the things I do (or don't do) I am happy to tell them why I am different. I try to live and be an example of what a Mormon is all about!
