Hi I'm Ally

I treasure family and the word of God, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have four siblings, I'm the second youngest, my parents are divorced, and I live with my mom, step-dad, and step brother. I love to play sports. I currently play volleyball, and softball. I used to be in dance, but i had a major spine surgery to correct my scoliosis. I have two titanium rods screwed into each side of my spine to keep it strait, so I stick to the less tough sports. When I graduate high school, I plan to go to a university. I'm not 100% sure on what I want to major in, but I hope to know soon. I love to be outdoors, especially in the summer. Going to the beach on a hot day, with a barbeque is pretty much heaven. I love to be with my friends and family, and have get-togethers. I get good grades and I think school and planning for the future is very important. I seek respect, honesty, kindness, generosity, and care from others and myself. I think they are very important qualities. I treasure family and life and all the blessings that come with it. (:

Why I am a Mormon

My family is generally Mormon, so I was born into it, but over the years I've had many questions and confusions. Alot of things haven't made sense to me or didn't seem reasonable...until I got more information. That's the key right there, I talked to missionaries about my questions, and read out of the book of Mormon, and prayed to my Heavenly Father to help me understand..the more I learned, the more things started to make sense and seem fair. Although I stilll have questions and seek answers, I've learned to accept that not all questions can be answered, and that's where my faith popped in. I realized that everything I've ever been taught from my church is good, and I feel in my heart that it is true. I wish that there weren't so many rumors and misteachings about the LDS religion, because so many people could live it's greatness if they would just soften their hearts and open their minds. I believe that it is another testament of Jesus Christ, and the true word of God.

How I live my faith

I go to church on Sundays, but not every Sunday. I guess you could say I'm not a "die-hard" Mormon, as some people say. I let my bed get the best of me. I do love to go to church though, It makes me feel closer to God and Christ. I also enjoy visiting with missionaries from the church and learning more and more about His gospel. I am currently reading out of the Book of Mormon and praying often. I feel that the more I've done these things, the closer I've gotten to Him. I feel that it is just a wonderful church, and I'm very greatful to have it in my life.
