Hi I'm Chad

I'm from Idaho, I love the outdoors, I love the weekend, I live in Ohio, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in Ohio. Which is volunteer work where we teach people about Jesus Christ and offer service I wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now! I do miss my family very much. They are still in Idaho and I will go back there in 2 years. Before my mission my mom would always look at me and tell me I had to much on my plate. I'm addicted to helping people. I don't know how to say no when someone asks for my help. I am so grateful to be a first hand witness of how the Lord works in peoples lives. I have lived in Jackson Hole right at the base of the Tetons before I left I love to go whitewater rafting, hiking, water skiing, fishing, snow skiing, snowmobiling. Pretty much if it is outside I will do it. In high school there never was a dull moment. I was on the Newspaper Staff, in Choir, Student Government, was in a few musicals. With my friends I was in a band where I played Bass Guitar. I like to play around with Piano, Violin, and Acoustic Guitar as well. Music Is just amazing! I'm grateful for the friends that I have, and that we can have fun without the drugs and alcohol. I have two brothers and one sister. I am the 2nd child which I am happy to be. I didn't have to be the first "figure me out" child, and I always had a good example to look up to. At the same time though I was able to be an example to my younger siblings as well. You can never be to rounded I feel. That is why I do all that I do!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I grew up in the faith, but I am so grateful for my families example and their choice to be members. Now being older I have had the chance to study out on my own look around a little bit and see what else is offered in the world. In my search I have realized that I love my family to much not be with them after this life. I realized that Gods authority that was given to Moses, Noah, Abraham, and Christ and his Apostles was taken from the earth. I know that authority also called Priesthood is needed to perform soul saving ordinance's such as baptism. I know that God loves each of us, His children, to much not to give us guidance and direction through a prophet. We can see in the Bible that their are times where we don't have a prophet. Especially after Jesus Christ was crucified, but in due time he called another prophet for the last days. Joseph Smith, I'm grateful for him listening to the call and acting upon it. Even down to the point of his martyrdom.

How I live my faith

I live my faith right now by sharing what I have found to be true with the world... Well Ohio... then maybe the world. As I said earlier I love offering service and being able to be right down on the frontlines. Helping those that don't have anything. No hope, no love, no desire to be better. Help them to feel their Heavenly Fathers love. I don't just work with those that have nothing however. I enjoy helping everyone else realize that their loving Heavenly Father has much more in store for them. That as they decide to come closer to God, and continue to make promises to Him with baptism all the way to the temple. They too will have the Opportunity to live with their family together forever. Marriage doesn't have to be "till death do you part" as long as the Priesthood is on the earth we can be bound together on earth and n heaven. I hope that everyone I meet will be able to take the time to understand this message and fully understand what their greatest potential is!
