Hi I'm Kevin

I'm a College Basketball enthusiast. I'm a 5th Generatin Nevadan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing and watching sports, spending time with my family, and goofing off with my closest friends. I am not a dad... Yet. I attend college in Las Vegas, but I am currently serving a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Omaha, Nebraska area. I'm not exactly sure what I want to do career-wise, and that is something that troubles my mind at times- knowing I must, in time, grow up! But, I know that my main concern about my future isn't necessarily what I will be doing for a living, but who I will be doing it for- My own future family, and I want to be prepared and ready to support them financially, but above all else, spiritually.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the Gospel of Christ is true! It's as simple as that. There is nowhere else where you will find Christ's church Restored on the Earth in its perfect form. Thanks to a young boy who asked his Father in Heaven sincerly of which church on the Earth was true, we are now blessed with the full Gospel once again. That young boy was Joseph Smith, who was called as a Prophet of God to lead this Church, and proclaim to the world of the divinity of Christ. I love this Gospel especially because of the strength it has not only given to me personally, but also to my family. I love my family more then I can begin to explain. I have prayed and recieved the answer for myself, that as I live the Gospel of Christ, follow my Heavenly Father's desires for me through following the teachings of his Prophets, and continue to follow the example of my Savior Jesus Christ, I can be happy not only in this life, but for Eternity.

How I live my faith

I show my Faith in a number of ways. Prayer, scripture study, etc... But I show it most by following the commandments. And as a young man of age, I have been asked to serve the Lord on a two year mission. Is it hard? Yes. Worth it? Very! I know as I continue to put my faith in the Savior, I will be strengthened throughout these two years. And not only these two years, but through my life on this earth. Through every trial, heartache, pain, and suffering, I can turn to Christ, and he will always, always, ALWAYS be there to lift me!
