Hi I'm Tamara

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mom of a beautiful two year old girl. We love to read, skip and snack together. I am a physical therapist.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that the principles of this gospel are true and will lead to true happiness. My relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is deep. I believe that I can receive personal revelation about my life and my choices.

How I live my faith

On Sundays I teach a group of adults about the New Testament. This is more of a discussion group than a lecture. In the past I have volunteered with the young women's youth group. Each week my husband and I have a brief gospel lesson after dinner. We teach our daughter many church topics, most importantly, that Jesus Christ loves her.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

My Testimony is what I have learned to be true. There are different aspects of the gospel that I have a more certain knowledge of because I have applied them to my life. For example, I have a large testimony of the principle of fasting. I believe this brings more spirituality in my life and gives me a closer relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. What is being a Mormon like?

Joyful. It is peaceful to know who I am and where I am going. By following gospel principles and living the commandments I am happy. I have tools to help my family be happy and content. Show more Show less
