Hi I'm Kelsey

I am a mother to 2 beautiful girls and always love to live life laughing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time mom, a part time photographer, and a follower of Christ. I grew up in Mesa but also lived in the Beautiful land of 10,000 lakes Minnesota. I love traveling and most importantly I love my family. I have 5 brothers and 2 sisters, life never was boring growing up and it sure isn't today. I love laughing and spending good quality time with my family. They are the world to me. Life has had it's up and downs but that is what makes me the person I am today. I am grateful for my trials and that they are my own. But one thing I always remember during it all is Life is Beautiful!

Why I am a Mormon

I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. That our Heavenly Father loves us so much that he sends us guidance through the scriptures and also through our Prophets. I also believe the God head is 3 separate beings. That we have a Father, a Brother, and a Comforter. I know Jesus died for our sins and that we can be saved because of him. That we can be better. That's why we are here, to learn and to grow and become like he was. I also believe families can be together forever!! That there is no end to us on this earth. Lastly I would like to state how I know our Father in Heaven loves each of us! We are children of God.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in two wonderful areas: Primary and Early Morning Seminary. I am the 1st counselor in the Primary Presidency and that in tells teaching 3-11 year old children the gospel and of Jesus Christ. I get to sing songs with them and laugh with them. It's the one area in the church that I believe you can act like a kid on Sunday at church and Heavenly Father is ok with that. I am also serving as an Early Morning Seminary teacher. My husband and I switch off weeks. In our area of AZ there isn't a release time so our students (9-12th graders) get up anywhere from 4:30-5:30 am to get to church at 6:10 to read and study the scriptures. We teach about 17 sophomore students for 5o minutes each week day. This year we are learning The Old Testament. What a challenge but what a blessing! We memorize scriptures, pray together, sing together, and learn together. They teach us just as much as we teach them. I love where I am serving and thank God for the opportunity to serve him and his church.
