Hi I'm Linda

I'm a Mormon. I love to watch birds and do art with my grandkids

About Me

I've always been a Mormom. With my husband, I've raised a family and felt so blessed to have neighbors and community to love and help us. My husband is deceased but since we are sealed in the temple, I know we'll be together again someday. I love life and the precepts of the gospel. I love having a guide to bless my life and guide me in the dark times. I have a big tree outside my window where I hang a bird feeder and have a drip system for fresh water. It's so fun to watch the birds come through during the winter. I try to identify new ones and keep a list of what I've seen. I like to help with bird counts and feeder watch programs. Art has always been a joy to me as well, especially teaching my grandkids and the neighbors how to make beautiful things. I'm a Jane Austin fan and I enjoy the BBC. I also like Dave Barry and miss Bill Watterson's Calvin comic and Erma Bombeck. There is so much to enjoy in this life. As Robert Louis Stevenson said, The world is so full of a number of things, I'm sure we should all be as happy as kings.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel teaches me to be honest, true , chaste, benevolent and sober. The closer I live to these ideals the happier I feel. My family is a great support. I love associating with caring people in my local ward. I feel His love at church and as I read the scriptures. Life is great, regardless of the junk that happens.

How I live my faith

The LDS way of life is a wonderful, clean, productive, useful, spiritual way to live. I want to share it with as many people as want to know about it.
