Hi I'm Carrie

I'm a wife, a full time mother of four, a part time waitress, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in southern California and there's no where I'd rather be than the beach. I love to dance. I had my son at a young age and he is now 21. Now I am raising three little girls and it's like starting all over again. My husband is an Evangelical Christian and we choose to focus on our similarities which is our faith in Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised Mormon, but as a teenager I strayed down the wrong path. There were many years of struggling with depression, shame, and guilt as a result of my actions. I never lost my testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. After my second child was born, it became so clear that I needed to start going to church again. Following the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has changed my life in every way. I now have peace and hope where there was once depression and despair. My relationship with God and His son, Jesus Christ, is the most important part of my life. I am eternally grateful for the Atonement of my Savior, which makes it possible for me to be forgiven. I am grateful to know that my Heavenly Father knows and loves me.

How I live my faith

I pray everyday to thank God for all that He has blessed me with. I also pray for guidance and comfort, which always comes when I ask in faith and allow God's will to be done and not my own. I enjoy reading from the Holy Scriptures. There is so much wisdom and direction in them that helps to guide me through the trials of this life. I also am a teacher for the adult women at church. It is scary, intimidating and one of the most spiritually rewarding things I have ever done.
