Hi I'm Marc

I'm love hunting and fishing. I'm a family man. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up spending a lot of time in the outdoors. My family spent time together there and now it's a place where I can go and remember the times that tied my family together. Being in the woods also helped me see God's hand in my life. Currently, I'm at college studying Physiology. I love science and knowing how the human body works. It really is incredible! I married the most wonderful woman in the world and I've loved every minute of it.

Why I am a Mormon

As I've mentioned, seeing God's creations first hand has really given me a knowledge of the Lord. I see the mountains, rivers, trees and know that Someone must have orchestrated it all. As I study more about the biological processes and mechanisms that occur everyday in the human body, I know that Someone must have put it all together. Those aren't the reason why I'm a Mormon, though. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have felt the Holy Ghost teach me that it is true. God loves his children and wants us all to feel His love and enjoy life as He know it. He made that possible by sending Jesus Christ to be our Savior. Christ's teachings lead us up the path that take us to God. Christ's teaching can be found in the Bible as well as the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is scripture and if we read and pray about it's validity we can come know it's true. If it's true then God has called prophets again starting with Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in the same way that is taught in the scriptures: by going about doing good. I have the opportunity to visit two families every month and help them in any way I can, whether it be spiritual or physical.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

A family can be together forever. It's one of the most precious truths that I know. My wife and I were sealed or bound together when we were married in the Salt Lake temple. This binding was done by someone who had the authority from God to do so. Because of this sealing my wife and I can have the peace of mind of knowing that whatever happens to us in the this life will be a small thing because we will be together in the life to come. Anybody who is baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and who is following the commandments of God can enjoy this blessing in their life. Show more Show less
